Acceptance of these terms

By accessing or using the Rincon Pickleball Club web app, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

These terms apply to club members, organizers, administrators, guests, and any other users who access the app.

What the service does

The service is a club-management and tournament tool for sign-in, profiles, scheduling, registration, score entry, standings, and related pickleball activities.

The service may change over time, and features may be added, removed, limited, or suspended without notice.

Accounts and eligibility

You agree to provide accurate information, keep your sign-in methods under your control, and use only accounts associated with you or with authorization from the account holder.

If you use the service on behalf of a minor or another person, you represent that you have authority to do so.

Acceptable use

You may not use the service to break the law, harass others, submit fraudulent scores or registrations, interfere with tournaments, scrape or reverse engineer the app, bypass access controls, or attempt to disrupt the service.

You must also follow club rules, organizer instructions, and any tournament-specific participation requirements communicated through the app or by club leadership.

User content and club records

You retain rights in content you submit, such as profile details, images, and score submissions, but you grant Rincon Pickleball Club a limited right to host, store, reproduce, and display that content as needed to operate the app and maintain club records.

Tournament results, standings, and match history may be preserved as part of the club's historical records, even if an account is later closed, where reasonably necessary for integrity or administration.

Health and activity risk

Participation in pickleball and related club activities involves physical risk. You participate in games, tournaments, and events at your own risk.

The app is an administrative tool only. It does not provide medical advice, coaching advice, or any guarantee regarding safety, scheduling, opponents, rankings, or outcomes.

No warranty

The service is provided on an as is and as available basis to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, perfect accuracy, or that the service will always be free from bugs, delays, or data loss.

Standings, pairings, court assignments, and score calculations are intended to assist the club, but organizers may still need to review or correct them.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Rincon Pickleball Club and its organizers, administrators, volunteers, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from or related to the service.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, any direct liability related to the service will be limited to one hundred U.S. dollars or the amount you paid to use the service, whichever is greater. The current version of the service is intended to be used without subscription fees.

Suspension and termination

We may suspend, limit, or terminate access if we believe a user has violated these terms, created safety or integrity risks, misused the service, or interfered with club operations.

You may stop using the service at any time.

Third-party services

The app relies on third-party providers such as Supabase, Vercel, transactional email services, and optional sign-in providers like Google and Facebook. Those providers operate under their own terms and privacy practices.

Governing law

These terms are governed by applicable laws of Puerto Rico and, where applicable, the United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after an update means you accept the revised terms.
